Advocacy

Advocacy

ABC advocates on behalf of residents and the neighbourhood whenever a coordinated response to an issue is required. We are committed to strengthening and preserving the distinctive character and quality of life of our neighbourhood for our residents.

We monitor City committee meeting agendas, identify issues that impact our residents, tracking and review development applications, and advocate through letter-writing, reports, deputations, meeting with city officials and developers, conducting studies and surveys and keeping residents informed of issues that affect living in the ABC area, whether local or city-wide.

We are active members of The Federation of North Toronto Residents’ Associations. An ABCRA board member sits on the FoNTRA steering committee and contributes to their many position papers on City and Provincial policy issues that affects our community.

Letters and reports have been arranged from most recent to oldest.
