UPDATE TO THIS LETTER<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ABCRA has worked closely with Tribute, the\u00a0developer of this site, over 18 months.\u00a0While ABCRA did not agree with the\u00a0City\u2019s\u00a0approved\u00a0height of the tower, we are pleased with what ABCRA,\u00a0working with the Annex Residents Association and Councillor Saxe\u00a0was able to accomplish as it relates to an improved public realm and the addition of wider sidewalks. We are especially pleased with the negotiated on-site parkland dedication for the\u00a0purchase by Tribute of two Avenue Road\u00a0properties\u00a0 #209 and #207. These two\u00a0properties will be added to 211 Avenue\u00a0Road that ABCRA secured as\u00a0part of the\u00a0development\u00a0negotiations of 1140 Yonge Street. Together\u00a0these\u00a0three\u00a0properties\u00a0will\u00a0create a magnificent\u00a0new Avenue Road gateway into Ramsden Park.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Toronto East York Community Council Re: 2023.TE6.8, 148-158 Avenue Road and 220-234 Davenport Road -Zoning By-law Amendment Application – Decision Report – Approval<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Dear Members of the Toronto and East York Community Council,<\/p>\n\n\n\n ABC Residents Association (\u201cABCRA\u201d) is an incorporated volunteer body that has been in existence since 1957. ABCRA represents the interests of residents who live in the area between Yonge Street and Avenue Road and Bloor Street to the CPR tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are writing to express our support for the 148-158 Avenue Road and 220-234 Davenport Road – Zoning By-law Amendment Application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ABCRA has worked closely with Tribute over the past 18 months. We are pleased with what we have been able to accomplish as it relates to an improved public realm and the addition of wider sidewalks.
